The Exterior of the Retreat

Miller’s Mountain Retreat is situated on 56 wooded acres in Potter County, Pennsylvania. Trails meander through the woods with guests able to access them from the driveway. The trails connect with miles of lumber trails at the back of the property where there is a large open meadow. Watch for wildlife as you stroll the trails or respectfully ride the trails on your ATV. Denton Hill’s miles of trails can be accessed by riding under the power lines that run through the property. During the spring and summer, feast your eyes on the wildflowers or enjoy the maple festival in May or go to Sprague’s in Portville, NY for a maple making tour. In autumn, the trees are clothed in brilliant fall colors. In the winter, enjoy the trails coated in snow, cross country ski, or build a snowman. Check the Potter-Tioga website for upcoming festivals, such as Maple Fest in May, the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum’s Bark Peeler’s Convention over the fourth of July weekend, or the Dickens of a Christmas celebration in Wellsboro, PA the first weekend of December among other events.
